FNB Rider Tamer Kekhia out for remainder of 2009

FNB Team rider Tamer Kekhia will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries sustained during the June 21st race weekend.  During the open laps of morning practice the engine on his 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R seized at the end of the front straight away and threw Tamer from his bike over the highside.  The impact resulted in a broken right elbow.  Another rider crashed while attempting to avoid Tamer's downed motorcycle , his motorcycle hit Tamer and broke his right collar bone and gave Tamer an concussion. He was transported to Legacy Emanual hospital and kept overnight for observation.

UPATE: Tamer is home and resting and will go in next week to have surgery on his collar bone.  The elbow may needs surgery depending on how it heals.
