Justin began riding on the street when he was 21 years old and found riding on the street to be too dangerous. After a few tickets while riding wtih some fraternity brothers, the group decided to head to the racetrack. Justin, the newest rider in the group has raced every since and the others no longer compete.

was his first season racing as a novice with the MRA in Colorado. Due to just graduating college, he could only afford a few races a season. He took it slow and after 3 years of dabbling in the sport, he was hooked and could finally afford a full season. In 2000 he was off to a great start, picked up a new 1997 GSXR600 and his job relocated him to Portland Oregon. Shortly after while visiting in Colorado, he broke his wriste in a crash and decided that he would regroup in Oregon and try again the following year.

Justin picked up a new Suzuki GSXR600 two weeks after his cast came off as a birthday gift and began his journey with the OMRRA. He was coming off an injury, learning a new track, a new motorcyle and without the comfort of his racing fraternity brothers, he adapted and finished well in his first year with OMRRA.

After Sept 11th that year, Justin decided to start Team FNB Racing with a few friends he met in 2001. The team was just two riders for 2002 and 2003 and he was learning about sponsorship and learning to go fast.

He bought an old SV650 to hone his skills and to get more seat time. Justin had so much fun on the SV that he picked was a regular challenger for the lead. He won a 4 hour endurance race and learned how to ride that little bike but was unhappy that the new model was beating him.

Justin decided to campaign a 2003 SV650 to be competitive as well as an 2003 Yamaha R6. Justin was instantly fast on both bikes and had a great time running at the front all year and took his first win of his career. He was in contention for the title and needed to beat his rival for the championship and fell mid race to lose the championship. The bike was terribly damaged and instead of a 1st and a few 2nds, he ended with 3,4,5 place instead. But he had accumulated enough points to be top 10 in OMRRA.

With spirits high, he picked up Tray Batey's 2004 National Championship Vesrah Suzuki. He learned to ride the bigger bike really fast and was becoming a well known fast guy. He finished the season with many podiums and ended the season with three 4ths and a 6th in the 750 and Open classes.

All the momentum that he had was holding strong, he was provided a new Suzuki GSXR600 from a sponsor, spent money prepping the bike and then the AMA switched the schedule around and he missed most of the season due to work. He raced a few times and was quick but always had to start from the back due to having very little points in the 600 classes. He then cut his hand and needed stitches and PT and that pretty much ended his year. Justin sold the bike and is preparing to make up for 2006 in 2007.

was going great for Justin and the team was 2nd in the NW Endurance Series as they headed to miller for the WERA 6 hour endurance race. Unfortunately in 600SS qualifying, Justin was knocked down by AMA and WSS regular Chris Peris and transported to the hospital with a sever concussion and lower back injuries. The team was unable to compete after a practice crash the next morning and headed back to Oregon. FNB Endurance finished 3rd in Middlweight in 2007, despite Justin unable to finish the season. Justin is healed up and ready for 2008.
